Sales and Business Development Director

Job Description

Beslogic is looking for a really exciting, ambitious, and driven person. Someone who will help us reinvent the world of corporate work and who will not hesitate to define their own role in our company as needed.

We want to rethink the concepts of sales and business development. You know, we want a pro who will help us get the word out, who will be a true ambassador of our brand and who can highlight all the miracles Beslogic can do with new tech and show the world how good we really are at what we do.

What we’re looking for:

Someone who wants to have fun selling our tech, our AI, whether it's in products or services.
Someone who has a strong desire to talk to everyone, to get to know them, in fact, to maintain a human relationship with our partners and potential partners.
A human who will show the world our strengths and that we are working hard to deliver top-notch solutions to our partners (what others call customers).
A communicator who will be able to talk to our future partners and bring them closer to our community so they can see the kind of systems we can do for them, and that we do them as if they were our own.
A collaborator who wants to have fun with our team members who are each more fascinating than the last. I'm talking about Andrew who even connected his cat to his home automation system or Helen who hid a llama in the office and even Jeff who eats tuna rice with peanut butter and steak seasonings (proof of which is available upon request).

Motivating tasks and responsibilities

That was for the attitude. Now let's get down to business, so here's where we need you:

  • Understand customer needs and goals, build relationships with potential partners and understand their needs to determine how AI technologies can help them achieve their goals.
  • Establish and follow a detailed sales plan to achieve sales goals.
  • Identify business opportunities, research new business opportunities and determine how AI technologies can leverage them.
  • Develop proposals and demonstrations to explain to our partners how AI technologies can meet their needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners for the implementation of AI technologies.
  • Follow up with our partners after the implementation of AI technologies to ensure their satisfaction and identify the potential of additional opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to resolve partner challenges.
  • Compile and analyze data to improve our sales strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote Beslogic products and services.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain partner files and sales information.
  • Eventually build a team of collaborators.

The essentials

 And the things that you should really go into your toolbox:

  • You've been doing business development for at least 3 years, and if it's in the technology field, you get points.
  • You have a college degree in marketing, communications or any other related field.
  • You could win against Oprah in a best communicator / influencer contest.
  • If you are tech savvy and have a strong understanding of artificial intelligence, that's a real plus.
  • You are known to be an excellent communicator in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
  • You adapt better than a chameleon and you are faster than lightning in front of change
